The Builders' Guild of Barcelona and its environs has published a list of "good practices" to be taken into account by its members when signing closed-price building contracts.

The aim of these recommendations is to prevent unfair claims against builders beyond those provided for in the Law on Building Regulations, when unforeseen events occur in the works and the contract is a fixed-price contract.
