In the BOE of March 10, 2018, RD 106/2018, of March 9, has been published, which regulates the State Housing Plan 2018-2021, with retroactive economic aid from the beginning of this year. It has a budget of € 1,443,000,000 spread over four years, and its objectives are: increasing the number of rental homes and promoting urban and rural rehabilitation / regeneration.

There will be aid for: Rentals of up to € 600 / month with established criteria; financing for developers who use their homes for lease for a period of 25 years; families in critical situation; the rehabilitation of homes prior to 1996; and for the first time aid is given for the rehabilitation of single-family homes in rural areas.
